Life Beyond Circumstances International (LBCi) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization sponsored by the Donald A. Strauss Foundation to improve the nutrition, health, and quality of life for disabled and disadvantaged children of Vietnam. The organization develops and implements simple, sustainable solutions to offset the negative effects that poverty, malnutrition, and inadequate social and tactile stimulation have on infant and child development. The organization currently works with orphanages across rural and urban Vietnam to institute nutritional, social/cognitive, and physical therapy programs. LBCi sustains a preventative, community-based approach to global health development.
